I'm wondering if anyone here would be able to help me identify a natural gas fireplace I was given by a friend. I can't find any identifying tags on it except for one with Nu-Tec Incorporated on it and another that says Made in Canada. I've looked everywhere for a ratings plate or ratings tag and if it's on the stove it's very well hidden. I took off the back pate and also checked underneath. It's my understanding that this can't legally be installed without a ratings plate so my fear is that this may just be a really heavy paperweight. Any help anyone could give would be appreciated.

Hello, you may have already figured this out, but for the sake of any others looking, this is the Heat-N-Glo Townsend I.
