Looking for an insert to heat at least my open concept 1st floor, which is about 2200 sqft. The fireplace is inland and in the "great" room which has about 14 foot vaulted ceiling but the rest of the level is 9 ft ceiling. Would a sirocco25 do the job or should I look for something bigger like a regency ci2700. I need overnight burns so I need a cat or hybrid stove

You don't need a cat stove for overnight burns. Tube stoves can do that too.

Heating a 2200 sqft floor with one insert is tough and depends on the layout.

Can you provide a sketch of the layout? That'll help folks who know more about stove sizing than me (tho my guess is you'd need to go larger than the BK).
