I have an older hearthstone mansfield that is in need of some attention. My first problem is that I can't ID the model (8010 or 8011). I have had this stove for about three years and bought it from a (former?) hearthstone employee who had it sitting around in their basement. didn't get much info about it other than it is a mansfield and I believe was built as an EPA test model stove by the company. As such I have no manual, no idea where the serial number is or other details. any help getting an ID on this stove would be helpful. I have done an extensive search online and found the serial numbers that correspond to what model but can not find a serial number on the stove.
Second, everything that I have read indicates that HS uses a ceramic baffle in the fire box above the secondary burn tubes on this model but the baffle in my stove is made of two pieces of cast iron (I believe) and one piece is warped, creating a significant gap in the baffle. Any advice on replacing/fixing this would be welcome as I'm not sure what to do with the current set-up.
Third, the air control is very sticky and difficult to adjust. Any advice on what to use to ensure smooth action would be appreciated.
I have included pictures of the stove.
