Need help with my Kent tile fire wood stove. Smoke is coming out of the door seal when the wind is blowing and we have the damper handle closed for a slower burn or over nite when bank it down. Can someone tell me how to resolve the problem.

It could be an issue with the flue and not the stove. Can you describe the flue system in detail? How dry is the wood that is being burnt?
we have good draft and the wood is more than a year old. the smoke seems to come from the door and not the indoor stack, which vents into a brick chimney on a 90 degree angle. thanks, any ideas?
