New 17" scraper for Harman

Just got a new Scraper for the stove...
quite long so no more singed knuckles and a nice rubber grip handle..
little pricey at 24.00 but feels more solid [forged steel helps and does better job with my hand outside the stove now.

Me likes! Especially the singed knuckles! LOL Been using a Craftsman gasket scraper, but it needs modified. Hmmm...

does a very good job... hand or hands are Outside the stove....That's a Plus....Can go all the way down to the Aug and hands are flame free.
gives a lot of torque pressure because of it's downward angle and rubber grips are good idea.

looks to me like 2 Alen Hex bolts holding it on..

Impressive-looking, I guess the only way I could one-up that would be to add a long blade to my pneumatic chisel...

Definitely need a long handle tool when scraping while stove is in use. Just passing this along however; best tool I've used is a generic caliper adjusting tool. About $6.00 at local auto parts stores. One end is beveled but simply hone it down on your bench grinder.... you all have a bench grinder,,,, right?

Man you all and your damn accessories.......... Kinda like a motorcycle is just a down payment for all the accessories. "I have a $3,000 pellet stove and another $2 grand in accessories and widgets to compliment it." Go figure...... LOL!

Now you just need some boots and garb to wear during the cleans and you will be styling! Looks like a nice accessory though I must admit. My $4 HF special long pry bar does the trick here. Wife might blow a gasket if I invest more cash in a pellet stove job box and tool crib.

Inexplicably, I persist in keeping the discount-store grinder from 30 years ago that, even new, had so little torque it would be taxed trying to re-shape a stick of butter.

Same here. Someone here mentioned that last year, and I haven't looked back. The angle is way better!
