Hello
The new Duravent cleanout Ts were designed to be able to remove easily. according to the manufacturer the proper way to remove the cleanout cap os to turn the cap counterclockwise until the buttons have been pulled in by the spring clips. Then pull the cap straight down to remove it.
However after a year of being on the stove the cap is Moro hard to turn, it is frozen.
Therefore I found that when the cap is initially installed, it should be treated with either
Dry Moly Spray
Or
NeverSeez High Temperature Stainless
In the brush on can.
Then it wil be easy to remove.
Anyone else have this issue?
