Just purchased a new Quadrafire 3100. Thanks for all the help with the whole process! The stove is going in my finished basement. This leads to my question. There was a woodstove in the basement when it was unifinished.. When I finished it I put 2x3 walls and made a box around the chimney pipe coming through the foundation. Installer is going to use double wall pipe but said I need 6 inches clearance. This means I need to cut the box/hole bigger. This is going to leave a big hole with foundation wall behind. Any ideas on how to make it look more finished? I though about just putting a piece of sheet metal up.
Thanks,
jwhjr

I'd go to HD or Lowe's and get a fire resistant fake brick/tile knock off and tile it up so it looks like there a chimney wall behind there....and good burning with your new stove.
