Just saw this stove has some cool features.

Enjoy

Good looking stove. That's one huge blower at 700cfm!

It will be interesting to see what folks think of it. My first take is that it looks like a buget modified version of the Country performer. I will be curious to see how well the upper heat sink works and what the flue temps are. There are a couple of things that don't appeal to me. The first is that I like a decent height bottom lip on the door opening to prevent ash spillage. This stove seems to have a low lip similar to the Lopi Endeavor. The other thing is the fan. That style fan shouts noisy, cheap and at 700cfm, overkill. But I'll wait and see what folks think.

Huh, I had the exact opposite response when I saw the fan. In my head I was thinking that "finally, somebody didn't use a squirrel cage fan". A heavy pitch blade style can move tons of low pressure/volume, where a squirrel cage is superior at high pressure/volume (the reason they use it in furnace/duct applications). This will be interesting for sure.

OK - who has a db meter to loan out??

The fans do push alot but I have never ran across anyone that leaves it on high. But on a lower setting they are queit. They are made at the Country factory in Washington. The stove does remind me of the old Lopi 380, even weighs the same. The glass size is bigger then on the performer.

These country stoves have always used a big paddle fan. That is not new for the country line. I agree that it will likely be quieter at half speed than a squirrel carge moving the same cfm. Think ceiling fan, you don't hear the ceiling fan paddles do you?

The heat exchanger is interesting looking. So is the claimed 94% combustion efficiency and 84% HE efficiency. Thos numbers seem to indicate that 84% of 94% of the btus will be delivered to the room.

I liked country stoves, but not lennox so much. These days, the common comparison is to the NC30. What can this stove do that an englander can't.

I do. Will have to visit a Lennox shop some point to see the stove. When I see that fan and the cfm rating I think of the Magic Heat unit.

OH NO...I will send beer with a high enough ABV to erase that "thing" from your mind.
