New York Strips on applewood = one happy family!!

Wifey says "what do you want to eat for supper?" It was a beautiful day (68° and gorgeous ), so I fired up the keyhole pit and we did steaks over a mix of white oak and applewood....



Afterwards, the kiddos enjoyed the first s'mores of the season.....

I probably drove by your house last Thursday, I should have called an order in I was flown to Flint MI to pick up a boat and bring her home. Was on Rt 80 forever, PA is a long long state. You can't beat a NY strip

Defiant, Interstate 80 isn't far from my house at all......do you remember going past the Milesburg exit? That's around 35min from my house! Should've stopped down. I'm always up for cooking for friends on the firepit!!

How'd your trip go? And you are right, I-80 is a damm long haul!!

Trip was great, spent the night DuBois and had a great meal in a local establishment (yes I had surf and turf) great NY strip and beer battered shrimp
