Thank you very much, VERY good price...I'm there!

If someone had a one day sale of dog poopoo for one penny per pound, I wouldnt attend. Or has NEWP gotten their quality control under....control?

Wish I had more room to store them! Have about 3.5 tons of NEWP stored in the garage right now (started the season with about 4 tons). I heard this year's NEWPs are burning hotter than last year's. I'm still burning what we had left from last year so haven't tried the new ones yet.

GREAT price if you're in the area!! I guess we need a bigger garage!

O.K. ............I guess we won't miss you???

Are you thinking of New England Pellet?

Yup...I was thinking of them..then what the heck is a NEWP? I just know last year folks bought a bunch of new england wood pellets cheap and came crying to me looking for a decent pellet. Tons of complaints with those pellets last year.

Glad to help, I was visiting family in the area and stopped in to pick up a couple of bags of Okies. I've never personally burned the NEWP pellets, but the forum reviews seem favorable and we haven't seen prices this low for a decent pellet.

I burned them last year. They seemed decent in my limited experience. More ash than the Okies I currently am burning. I think I paid $295 plus delivery for the NEWP in the fall of '08 (from a different dealer closer to me). Wish I had the space and a way to haul them home; $199 is well worth it, imho.

not that it matters at all, but looks like a dealer liquidating excess inventory to me......there is no margin in that price...below cost....so, take advantage of it while you can!

I called them for more info, it is 1st come, 1st served, cannot pre-pay or reserve. They STRONGLY suggested being there early as the response has been "overwhelming".

Apparently they bought 4 truck loads = 112 tons well....110... I'm buying 2.

Looks to me like the mill has the overstock.

Will they have them at the Acton store, or do you need to schedule an appointment to pick them up at the Boxboro whse?

I can't answer that, I called the Acton store.

Curious if anyone was able to get in on the deal....I would have, but I'm still sitting on close to 4 tons and don't have any additional indoor storage.

Can't say I would either. Don't think it would
burn well in my Prescott.

I went and grabbed a ton. It was a mob scene at the Acton showroom. Saw two fender benders while I was there. I passed on picking them up at the showroom and picked them up at the warehouse instead. I guarantee I got my stuff faster this way even though it was an extra 5 mile drive. NO ONE was picking up from the warehouse. I was in and out in 3 minutes tops.
