Been lurking for a bit here. Gathering info since january on nfpa 211 stuff and stoves.
I have a line on a combifire 4 or a morso 1125. Both ul stoves.
Contacted both jotul and morso for manuals combi is a 36" rear clear and 1125 is a 30" rear clear. Using the right pipe and wall pro can either of these stoves rear clearances be reduced 66% realistically ? Anybody done it with an old cast dragon?
Whats the sqft/btus of a 1125? Combi manual says 5500 -9500 sqft... for real?

With proper NFPA 211 wall shielding and double-wall stove pipe, the rear or side clearance can be reduced down to 12".

The 5500- 9500 is not square feet. That would have a small 2 behind it. Notice it has a small 3 meaning LxWxH or cubic feet.

The 1125 was a decent heater. How large an area will depend on a lot of factors, but it should heat 800-1200 sq ft well. More if well insulated, less if not.
