Hell I could 75 MPH if I bolted that engine to my bicycle! That is one beast of a chainsaw!

DAMN! :coolgrin: That's a good price,normally they go for $450-600 depending on age,condition etc.

2100/2101 series was produced from 1975-1990. 6 cubic inch,100cc,7HP,10,500RPM max. 21 lbs less bar & chain.

classic muscle saw,they dont show up on ebay too often.That was my 2nd choice after the 288XP.Lots more of them around compared to the 2100 series,spare parts are much easier to find also.Plus the 288 is a bit better for milling because its faster - 12,500-13,000 max.

Would still like to have one,if I can see one thats not too pricey.

Here's a nice 2101XP,that bad boy bounces even more than my 288XP does....These older big saws have a cool sound all their own... :vampire:

It was a little rough .............. but worthy.

Looked like this when I brought it home. Started well and ran, but it didn't want to idle. It did have 150psi of compression though.

After a little cleaning, painted the top cover ........ new bar and chain, fuel line, carb rebuild, and crank seals.

Mid-eighties Husqvarna 2100 (100cc). Seller was asking $350 on CL for it. I'd say the 2100 / 2101 would make a good milling saw.
