Hi. I am new to all of this and was wondering if anyone has a manual for a Nordic Erik Jr wood stove. I thought I had it figured out, but I'm wondering if I am missing the legs or something. It sits on a pedestal, but other pictures I've seen show it sitting on legs also. Some pictures show it just like mine. Any info would be appreciated.

It's not uncommon for a stove maker to offer two options for the base, either legs or pedestal.

Thanks! Didn't know if I was missing something or not. Would you know what the little rod, that pushes in and pulls out, towards the bottom of the pedestal is for?

I don't know the stove well, but it looks like it may have the coal kit added. Is there an ashpan on the side or rear of the stove? Does that rod work a shaker or riddling grate in some fashion to sift the ashes?

The ash pan is behind the fans. That door swings open to access it and there is a rod to shake the ashes behind there also. I haven't been able to find anything online about what the rod at the bottom is for.
