OAK opinions...please

I would base the decision to use an OAK on whether the house an air mixer to allow fresh air into to house, and the climate.
We have an air mixer that allows an influx of fresh air.
Having run 3 stoves for years, what I have found is that the stoves work fine without an oak and the house stays clear of stale cooking odors and such.

Just my thoughts.
