I run a DW 2462 in a white pine log cabin that's sealed up tight except one crack in a log that happened in sub 0 temps recently. There's no OAK in my house.

I'm looking at getting a new stove. I'm slightly apprehensive due to back puffing issues on new installs.

Am I going to need one? How do I find out BESIDES install issues?
