Okie pellets

On a bag ok black and red okie pellets, it looks like on the top right of the bag there is a month and year -is this true? Is it the manufacture date?

Is it under the black bar (eye mark)? If so it's when the film for the bag was made.

Here's a quote from Mr.Warm. Just as what was said above.

Any date on the bag would be for date of production of the bag, not the date the pellets went in the bag…..we don't put that information on the bag
