I have a new harman p68, this is our first year burning. We picked up 10 bags of miscellaneous hardwood pellets to start with..burned nice and quiet. Bought 2 tons of the Okie Plats, and about every 30 min or so while running stive on room temp mode, we hear like a scraping noise sort of like something is dragging..from the auger. Cleaned the fines box and stove completetly, no carbor buildup near auger either..nothing changed. Tried running it on constant burn and it seem to eliminate the problem. We then got a shipment of cleanfire pacifics and they are burning perfectly on the room temp mode. What would cause the okies to make such strange noises? We noticed they are very small pellets but otherwise in great condition, and very hot. Paid way too much for them to not be satisfied with them!

Usually they'll be that type of noise when the auger is crushing a pellet. Mine does it all the time.
