I recently found this cast iron stove in an old barn.

The top of the stove is marked "No. 8" and the name on the door is "V8 Class."

Some of the parts are stamped "PL."

Is this stove old? Modern? A reproduction?

I can find absolutely nothing about it online.

Any help in identifying the stove would be greatly appreciated!

Looks like it might be an old laundry stove.Looks like it could be an original. Probably from the first half of the 1900's. They weren't meant for much more than heating a large bucket of water sitting on the top. It probably has grate in it and was originally used with coal.

With the air inlet at the bottom it was/is probably a coal stove. Maybe post your pics here for a better response: http://nepacrossroads.com/

Love the hour glass design.
