Oops, we ran into some problems - why is this happening?

I'm trying to edit my post above, but I keep getting a server error @begreen I'm not sure who to tag?

Oops! We ran into some problems. Please try again later. More error details may be in the browser console.

something must be wrong with the post. I can edit this one... haha computers makes our lives sooo much easier!

EDIT to POST Above...

And really the thermometers are really not needed. If the fire is too big (ie I get hot) I turn it down. If the fire is too small (you know the opposite of being hot) I just increase the intake lever and open the damper, have a nice day.

Sorry to use this thread.

The advertisements are NUTS!

I don't want to read an inch wide column, with 9 massive advertisement(some repeats)
over, beside and under the post i'm reading.

It's been over a week.

Every post is flooded with the same ad, repeated 15x and the posts are being read as vertically stacked words.

Some posts are two inches wide but STILL!

In the 'whats in your stove thread'......i opened it....
1 ad at top....all posts display normally, full. 2 ads at bottom of page......

But almost every other thread is like reading a list....related to how it displays...

anyone else?

I just tried on my phone and my wife's phone and saw no ads. Is this still happening?

I worked in IT for many years. We had computers that were prone to issues with pop-ups and other "ad" issues. It was malware on the computer causing the issues. I personally use an ad blocker, called Adblock and scan my computer weekly for viruses and malware. I turned off my ad blocker and I still don't see any ads on this site. I'm using a windows laptop and google chrome.

Adblock is free and available for smartphones too.

I'm going to take a wild stab in the dark on this one. Is your phone an android? As in not an iphone?
