My TarmSolo 40 is piped parallel to my oil boiler. They share the same water feed.
All the air is out of the system. I've had the wood boiler running. Shouldn't the pressure read the same on both the wood boiler and the oil boiler. They are at the same elevation.
The oil boiler reads 18psi, and the wood boiler reads 8psi.
 
Don't count on the SP40 pressure gauge being correct. While pressure testing my installation I noticed that the Tarm Gauge differed from the Test Gauge by 8 PSI
