I am a steel stove guy but even I like the look of that sucker. Congrats.

Very nice looking stove!

What did that puppy run you, if you don't mind me asking?

Nice stove eight.. We put in an Oslo last winter. It's amazing how much heat that stove throws. One thing I had to get used to was how much force is required to fully close the front and side door latches. I really need to put some weight into it in order to get a good seal. I'm looking forward to firing it up next winter!

The stove in Blue/Black enamel was just over $2k. Expensive, but hopefully worth the investment. Winters are long up here in "da northwoods eh". I will get more pics next week when we hoist it onto the hearth. 8

She's beautiful 8! Can't wait to see it in it's final home. How do you like the finish now that you can see it in person? Nice, eh?

thats one sharp looking stove, love the color. please post a pic in the fall when you have her blazing.

I love it... I knew I had made the right choice when I pulled the cardboard off the pallet. It seems to be flawless as far as I can see. I am still a little worried about all that weight on the raised hearth, but I think that will go away in time. I wish I knew how the builder framed out my existing hearth so I could feel more confident in its construction. It does seem to feel pretty solid and the hearth slab is 2.5" thick...hopefully thats enough. 8

I built my hearth with steel studs and durock, tile, etc. To this day I am not overly confident in its strength. It has not flexed or cracked or anything but cripes, these stoves are heavy. My thought is that my hearth is only 4" tall so if it collapses then the stove will just pull out of the chimney pipe and spew smoke into the house. The stove won't tip over, probably, and it won't be a nice experience but the house shouldn't burn down.

Nice big stove. I really like the look of enameled cast iron.

I would think there would be some sigs of failure like cracking tiles or something before a complete collapse happened. Hopefully you would notice and take the appropriate action.

That Oslo looks great. If I hadn't got such a great deal on my barley used Castine I would have bought it new with the blue/black enamel, it looks really sharp.

Hunka, hunka, burn'in love!

Cool stove 8. That oughta tick off the fuel guy (and thats a good thing).

Should be a wonderful stove 8. The color is very nice and the enamal will be much easier to keep clean than a steel stove. You picked a sure winner.

That is a Nice looking stove 8!

I would like to see it when it is set up also.
