Hello all! I've been a follower for several months now. This page had been awesome with helping us learn more about our new (old) wood stove! I've still not been able to figure out exactly what stove we have though. We bought it used from someone who had recently bought a house and knew nothing about the stove. We do know that it is an Earth stove but all the pictures I've seen online have the pipe coming out the top, ours comes out the back. I've searched and searched to try and figure out which Earth Stove it is and can't find it anywhere! Can someone please help us identify it??

From a quick look, it appears that Earth Stoves did make an insert model that has the flue out the back. Either your stove was a special order or an insert that was retrofitted as a free standing. The stove guys may know better...

Yes, the only pictures I've been able to find are inserts. I would just really like to find a manual for it. It's a great stove so far!

These folks may be able to help you. (broken link removed to http://a1stoves.com/earth-stove-traditions-manuals-c-2_18_24.html)
They appear to have some of the manuals for the early models that are downloadable for $10 Contact them to make sure you get the right one...
