I'm building a covered patio with a roof and walls on 75% of the structure. The fireplace is in an area that could get hit by a sidways rain. I can't find any direct vent and outdoor-rated fireplaces that can get wet. Valor and Fireplace Xtraordinar seem to make direct vent outdoor sets but they can't get rained on. With the popularity of covered patios, I can't believe nobody is making these. Any units that would work? Any tips to accomplish my goal? Thanks in advance!
