This will be my third install for myself but the first insert/liner. The only thing stopping me from pulling the trigger on a drolet 1800 is the 26” of R1 hearth needed, I have a 14” hearth that is 1.25” higher than the wood flooring. would placing a 18” hy-c pad overlapping the existing stone 3” be acceptable?
