cleaned out my stove. turned on test mode like always after cleaning. The distribution fan is fine, combustion motor making loud noise and does not turn, the feeder motor does not even come on. Is the motor toast? Will the pellet feeder not come on until the combustion fan tests ok?

Someone else with insert just removed and revived the exhaust fan by oiling the bearings. Yes, if the vacuum is not achieved the auger wont turn. Search of 608 may get you there. That's the common bearing.

Seen a lot of times where crap gets into motor and/or impeller while cleaning.Usually no positive seal on shaft through mounting plate(too much heat).Lots of people(me included) run combustion blower while cleaning.

Inserts sometimes have to have the venting disconnected to pull out the unit:(
