I have a P35i that is a little over 10 years old. During the final clean of the previous season, I noticed a worn-down foam seal around the exhaust that connects to the liner going up through the chimney – see pic. Is this something that can be replaced with a new seal or, because it's attached to the exhaust, am I looking at replacing that whole part?

Is that hole for the Exhaust Chamber Access Cover? I am looking at the manual. I don't see a replacement parts list so far. You could clean it all off and use a thin narrow bead of red RTV. If you use too much it will be hard to get off next time.

Edit: here is probably what they use - one sided silicon gasket tape - high heat

The picture is taken from the top, looking down into the exhaust chamber - I included a snippet. The Exhaust Chamber Access Cover, is on the side, and I have never been able to get that thing off - LOL.

Oh OK. Is there an adapter you take off every year? It looks like they used foam tape (high heat). Misaligned job for some reason.
If you take it off every year you can still use red RTV, but you will have to clean up the surfaces each year.

No, no adapter. I just pull the stove out 2-4 times per season to clean the liner or do a final clean. I have never messaged with that foam. It just forms a seal between the exhaust opening and the mounting frame/liner pipe.

Here is something that might be good. I could use some for my smoker.
