Use black paint.:p

Seriously, it looks like that door can be easily removed from the (hinges). Can the glass be remove also (ie is there just a rope gasket holding it in place with metal brackets?). Remove glass if ya can...if not tape it off real good. (any over spray can later be scrapped off with a flat razer blade)

Is that brass polished? If it is smooth you may need to sand it a little. I have always had good luck using LIQUID SANDER prior to painting metal surfaces. Ya got to get the brass CLEAN of all oil/soot/dirt.

Use a HIGH TEMP stove paint (spray) and apply several coats. Should be fairly simply.

Is it maybe just a brass onlay that can be removed? I cant see the door being all brass or even being different then the black one offered! But who knows!
