Hi all,

I'm about to start replacing my insert with a freestanding stove and would like to reuse the stainless flue pipe that I have for the insert on the new stove.
However for the two lengths of stainless that will be exposed in the room I would prefer to be satin or gloss black.
Has anyone here had experience painting SS flue pipe?
Wondering how well it's stood the test of time and if anyone had any hints or tips.
