I would like to paint our multi fuel stove fire place insert and would like some advice on what type of paint to use?

The insert was cement rendered with an addition of lime.

I guess most people just stick to the cement rendered look which is grey and ok for me, but the misses thinks otherwise.

Your help would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Use a high temperature paint designed for stoves. Not sure what is available in the UK. In the states it would be a paint like Thurmalox or Forest Product's Stove Brite.
