I need a combustion blower for my PDV. The low Canadian dollar plus Shipping plus Duties makes a $130 part like $250 CDN. Is there anywhere in Canada that has reasonable prices?

Get a mailbox on the other side of the St.Lawrence ? I kknow of a member that has friends on the US side that accept their US purchases

Take your fan to Friendly fires in Kingston
They may be able to match it with a aftermarket unit
or steer you in the right direction . I was able to get an
aftermarket unit from them at considerably less than original equipment
Or check with you own dealer but you have to ask for aftermarket

You could always order it through home depot. You dont look too far from watertown. Or go on englanders website and look for dealers closest to you and call them. There is a small store near me (im east of watertown) that carries parts so im sure you should find something near watertown.

How much was the one you bought? I don't care if it's original, as long as the shaft is the same and the same rpm.

I'll have to look up what I paid but it was well under 200$
but I get contractor pricing which is a small discount .
See if they have one .You live in the same city nothing ventured
nothing gained. If they do have one you are up and running now

I'm going to check them out this week, I was planing on pricing a propane stove anyway. The blower will be good for the rest of the season, the bearings are just noisy. I added a couple drops of oil with an oiling syringe and it shut them up considerably! $200 for a blower, or $1000 worth of extra insulation in the basement to never have to worry about pellets again!
