To the Englander pdvc pellet stove owners out there have any of you made modifications to the burn box

Yes I’ve read most of them. I made a small modification to my burn plate by blocking some of the holes and drilling the rest a bit bigger. Really made a big difference in the ash buildup in the burn box. Also noticed the inside of the stove is not got the black soot
Nice tip! I'll have to pick some up. That is a great price on my preferred wood pellet.
