First of all I'm new here and not sure where I should post. Considering question is stove related figured here would be best. So I was looking at replacing my gas insert with a pellet insert. Possibly the comfortbilt hp22i. Gas doesn't quite cut it and is expensive. So my father has a pelpro pellet stove and he says he has to clean out his clean out tee every 3 or 4 weeks or his flame starts to act weird. My question is if I get an insert and a vent it straight up the old chimney am I really going to have to pull out the 250lb stove every couple weeks and take it apart to clean out the chimney or is there something I'm missing? The insert will be a few feet off the ground so it'll be even more of a chore. I've tried to Google this question but can't find anything on it. Thanks for your help. Burn on!
