Pelpro Pellet Jam caused new style round 2 RPM Auger Motor to leak grease. Is the auger motor bad? Can the grease be replenished?

Hello
The grease can be wiped off and then the 2 RPM round auger motor can be tested with the Quadra-Fire Adapter and AC test cord.
It tested good see timer with test setup here!
See how to test the auger motor here.

The grease can be easily replenished. What type of grease is in there?

that is the wrong grease for this type of application, light duty gears such as those in appliances and such should have a lighter grease used in them like the white lithium grease. All to need is a little bit on the gears and it is all good, what was showing on the gears in the first picture is more than enough. All that extra grease you put in is just going to sit their and not even contact the gears over time and turn into a hard ball..

Too much grease can inhibit the gear movement as well…x2 on the white lithium

Here is a good video on auger repair and replacing the grease. It is not white lithium.
