what do you mean by power supply? The user control panel? Terminal block? Power coil on the control board?

He will repair the circuit board for $180. I thought l could replace the power supply / transformer myself for a lot less $.

thanks for the tip, but no luck with the part number search ( BVU4-042.035.015 ). And l can't read the specs on it because there's a blue capacitor in the way.

If you have tested it and know it to be faulty take it off the board. Gotta have it off to put on a new one

I do not ever remember a transformer going out on one of those,usually just the can capacitors.
