Hello everyone, I have the opportunity to purchase a Austroflamm integra 1 for less than 200.00. Looks to be in ok shape. There was a video of it dropping pellets and exhaust blower working only. The seller doess not more than that. So that all I know. Have done some research on parts and other valuable information. I'm aware that may need parts like air sensor or room fan harness, There is a kit for 400.00 to update it to auto ignition from off grid . I like old stuff. Should I buy or walk away?? Looking for opinions and advice.

Thank you.

For $200I’d would buy, I would not do the igniter route but that is just me as I don’t have one in my Integra.
Maybe the room fan just needs a good cleaning or the circuit board maybe an issue.
But for the price I would go for it!

200 i’d be all over it 😎. Lil bit of Anderol, a soft bristle brush and a dmm will tell all you need to know to fix it. I would not upgrade to igniter either. ( another thing to fail)

Thank you both your replies and advice. Both my igniters on my stoves are not working. I have been using the propane torch just fine. The igniter would be good for the other half to start the stove when need be. How large is the hopper on this model??

About or close to 2.5 bags. 99 lbs.

👍😎

How often do you integra guys have to clean the stove? Are you able to use a thermostat on the integra 1 ?? I'm burning green supreme right now. I have read that these stoves can be finicky on pellet brands . I'm off to see and most likely purchase the integra tomorrow morning.

I deep clean about every ton…heat exchanger about every two weeks depending on how hard I run it
No thermostat here…..pellets vary somewhat I run Dry creeks as I can buy a couple of tons and pickup bags as I need them …green supremes I can get but I use them for shoulder season or if I am in a bind

Well I picked up the integra 1 for 200 00
Had to free up the right side heat exchanger. Gave it a good cleaning. Just waiting for some gaskets. It has the updated Eprom.
3.5B. Going to re do the cadt iron plates and give it a try after that.

We'll do a quick clean almost every day on our stove/: shutdown, vacuum trey and clean the glass with a wet rag. Takes about 5 minutes. Every 3-4 weeks we'll shut it down, take the plates off and vacuum and brush as thoroughly as possible. Open the access door behind then heat exchange tubes and vacuum there if you can.
If you're changing the combustion fan gasket, while you have it off clean around the fan fins. Soot can collect there causing
noise or bad operation.

We have the Rika Integra II . Very few issues, but when we have had trouble, it usually involved the combustion fan, : requiring cleaning or more likely the gasket needed changing.

Good chance you're going to like that stove.
