Price Alert - Windsor, Nova Scotia $5.47 Eastern Embers

Home Hardware in Windsor is selling 40lb bags of Eastern Embers at $5.49 per bag. Central Supplies which is next door, price matched them at the same price. As of the middle of this week, (September 3, Central had 3000 bags in stock).

I originally planned to buy from them this weekend anyway at $5.88 per bag, but did not know about the price change until I went to pay.

So far, this is what I've gathered for prices (Halifax area):

Walmart - Trebios - $5.63 per bag
Kents - Cozys - $5.59 per bag
Rona - Eastern Embers - $5.59 per bag.

I think the Kents sale on Cozys is close - maybe next week. Last year, they were $4.49 during that sale.

Home Depot sold Eastern Embers last year for $5.46 all year.
