problem with stove RED EDERA

I have bought about 2 years ago a red edera multiair heater and I am based in the city of Rethymno, in Greece. I have installed the heater but unfortunately it has never worked as the other heaters of the same type: its flame is similar to that of a fireplace, raising high and without a spark. The pellets get blackened but not burned. I have tried a variety of different configurations, I change the pellet types but at any configuration I do not get proper functionality.
My chimney is very simple, direct output behind the heather upwards, and stainless chimney pipe of 2.5 as I show in the photos. Unfortunately the flame is very red, touching the roof. Only during the process of shutting it down is the flame moving as it should...
Here in Greece they can not help me via Athens... we ordered a different plate which I haven't changed yet but I don't thing it is the issue.
And another final thing, at the air input behind the pipe seems to have a slot for some connector that doesn't exist.
I could really appreciate your help, our trouble is limitless for such an expensive machine. For any photos or video I am at your disposal.

That looks like a simple case of too much intake air. There are a few videos of that stove burning properly on youtube. All of them have a much lower dancing flame. One of the videos has the mfg hotline for getting help.. Call em

In section 4 on page 32 of the manual there is information dealing with fine tuning both the fuel feed and smoke extraction (combustion air). You use those two controls to adjust the fuel/air ratio of the stove.

That flame is very lazy. Looks like a lack of combustion air to me, or to much fuel for the amount of combustion air you have. Have you run this stove before? If you did then did it burn normally? Things to check are what SmokeyTheBear has said as well as making sure the stove is clean and that all passageways and ash traps are clean. Make sure the combustion blower is clean as well as the vent pipe. Check the door gaskets with a dollar bill to make sure they are making a good seal.
