Programmable and web accessible thermostat for Harman P43

Hi

I just got a Harman P43, I would like to hook it to a programmable thermostat who can also be accessible via internet or via an iphone app while i'am not at home.

Do any of you already did that and what thermostats do you suggest and what do I need?
I found this information, but maybe there is some thermostat that doesn'T need a special HUB to use it, maybe some that can be control directly over my own router.

I don't want to pay a monthly fee to be able to control my thermostats remotely,

If you can't suggest me any web accessible, can you suggest any programmable thermostats that are good.
I saw some of you use the Skytech 3301p, but it seems to be a lot expensive.

Honeywell Wifi Therms use MytotalComfort app.. no hub. It would be a simple on off though... I don't think you'll be able to change fan speeds etc.

HI, I'am not looking to change fan speed, just on off it's good.

I will take a look at it, can you tell me wich one will work on a pellet stove? I read that it needs to be milivolt I think, can someone tell me what kind of thermostats work on a pellet stove? Any one that works with gas??

Also, since thermostats seems to use 24V and not milivolt, how can I supply 24V to the thermostats to work? Is there any 24V in the harman P43 or thermostats are all hook up like this thread?

Is there any WIFI therm that can be hooked up to the stove, without 24v external power?

I just need to confirm that I need an external power source of 24V for a therm on a harman P43 or is there any programmable thermostat that can run on it without, just by connectiong the sensor in serie...

Programmable millivolt thermostat hooked in series with one lead of the room probe. Easy to do and works quite well on Harmans I've used (P61 and PC-45).

For wifi on & off I use a TP-Link smart plug between the UPS and the stove. On/off is controlled by the TP-Link on my cell phone or a button on the switch.

This has been proven an ideal solution for use at or weekend retreat and retirement home. I can turn on the stove 4-5 hours early and the house will be at the preset temperature when we arrive.

Are sure the tp link is secure? Harman suggest to never unplug the stove by pulling the plug, you should turn the stove off first. It can cause smoke in the stove if it's not going in the closing process. Does this tp link works like the recommended ups by Harlan, by sending a signal to the stove to close normally? Because I saw here in other thread that ups send a kind of signal when it loose power, so that way the battery stay alive enough to let the stove close slowly like it has to do

Hasn't really been a problem as this is a weekend retreat. I shut down the stove wait until it's cool and fans have stooped and then turn off the switch. Then turn stove on but it won't run because the switch is off. Then when needed I can turn it on remotely via the wifi switch.

I haven't had a need to turn it off using the switch only. In may case it would be just like a power outage without an UPS. I haven't experienced that so I don't know how big an issue that is.

As far as security, the TP-Link goes through my router/firewall. If anyone wants into the switch, they could also get into the network at large and, hopefully, the network security and firewall prevent that.

I think it would work for you. Just get the UPS so it will shut down. The Harman will go into shutdown mode without main power and with the UPS it will cycle the exhaust fan off and on continuously only until shutdown. Use one of the UPS's Harman recommends to accomplish this.

If this is confirm working, do I need to connect the stock probe in serie with this also or not?

I know I will need a 24v power source also to use that.
