I was on natural gas when I lived 20miles away in town. Natural gas maybe cheaper per btu but with propane I pay by the gallon, no monthly fees to be connected to their lines, no tax if for home heating. That monthly connection fee goes up every year especially when they feel the need to "upgrade" their infrastructure. I did purchase my own used tanks so I am not locked into one supplier, but around here the suppliers are pretty competitive with each other.Not if you have natural gas in your area.
My favorite state and locality within.It's $2.39 a gallon here in rural South Central Kentucky.
