Bought a Pacific Energy Pacific D1 insert to replace my 25 year old "Olympic" insert. I pick it up tomorrow - and will run a new SS stack down my old chimney. Stoves seem to be getting RARE in the mid-west early this year, doors back ordered, stoves back ordered. This is my second PE - I have a "Super Series" free standing (looks like a 27) from about 1992 in my basement, been a great little stove and a major reason I picked the new PE.

I've never had a blower before - do they really help extract heat, and disperse it ? Maybe I should add one to the 27.

Congrats, and yes the blower moves the heat around very well.
