Ok last season Everytime my feed motor was activated it made a squeezing noise, so this year I pulled out the pellet stove accessed the feed motor and tried to start it to duplicate the sound or verify but the auger motor never started and I was wondering if it's because I had it pulled out from the wall or the feed motor completely quite working any information would be greatly appreciated cornflake

Need more info. what year stove. Is hopper empty? Is stove new enough it has a hopper lid switch so when open, it shuts power off to motor?

Are there any colored lights flashing in the control board? If so what color and how many times are they flashing. One amber flash and one or two blue flashes is normal. A blinking amber light or a green or red light indicates bad thermocouple. Is your hopper lid switch jumped or being magnetically closed or does yours predate those? Have you given the stove time to prime the auger with pellets or are you watching the auger with the access panel off? Are either of your two overtemps blown( manual reset on auger and auto on side of stove).
