Good day all; its my 1st post so please be easy on me. We have a Castille insert and have a remote control thermostat for it. Now the problem is for the past 2 days the stove has come on and dropped pellets into burn pot and exhaust fan is running HOWEVER the remote is turned off...please help I'm worried their may be a power issue occurring to said circuit the insert is on. Thanks for your time...

Hmmm, Could be picking up another frequency? Try keeping the remote on with a very low temp setting so the stove doesn't call for heat.

Change all the batteries in the remote while your at it. JIC

I had a lot of issues with my quad remote. Went with a sky tech and never had any. Stupid question but your remote is not sitting in the sun sometimes direct sunlight can shut down calling for heat.

Bypass the wireless stuff and try a regular thermostat to make sure there is no issues with the stove...then go pack to troubleshooting the wireless system....it could be the remote, or the receiver, or as mentioned interference from some other system. I just run a wired programmable thermostat off mine and it works great....If you can avoid wireless all the better.
