Hello,

So I am helping my brother troubleshoot his Castile Insert and having trouble figuring things out. When he called me, he noted the stove had combustion (exhaust blower on), the igniter was on, but it wouldn't feed pellets. If you manual drop pellets in the burn pot it would light and run until the pellets burnt out. He purchased a new auger motor and #2 snap disc. I installed them and had the same outcome. I jumped the other snap disc's and vacuum with the same result.

He purchased a new control board which we tried, however the exhaust blower turn on for 15 seconds or so and will not continually run for the start up and the igniter starts to get hot then stops. The stove does drop pellets, but it will not go through the start-up process.

The wrinkle, when we put the old control board back in, now the exhaust blower starts immediately, pellets drop and the stove lights and runs fine. However, the issue now is the exhaust blower will not stop running, even after it shuts down. We switched back to the new control board and same issue as noted above.

Not sure if there is something we missed? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thx in advance!!!

I'd return the new one if possible, and try another one (board). Check all the connections at the board and elsewhere. Use a surge device for the circuit.
