Can someone tell me if this is correct? I got this from a friend that is was flooded about 4" of water a couple of years ago. the motors are a bit noisy so I just ordered both to replace. This is on high with feed adjuster all the way open. It has to be better right? I took apart everything and cleaned. Checked all switches and ok. Im trying to heat a 35 x 40 pole barn with decent insulation and not sure if it can do it. Should I put my wood burner back in?

thats a big open area! what is "decent insulation"? open to the rafters? dirt/stone/concrete floor? granted a lot of folks can heat an entire home with a Pellet stove but i think you might be asking a space heater to do a little much. i heated my paint shop 34 x 40 with a big-E for years. but the shop is insulated as well as my home is and only 2 windows and a concrete floor

Yes decent insulation with concrete floor and no windows. It just seems I cant get the flame big enough to get good heat.

How is it vented? Can you post a pic of it burning?

Ok got the video to work, yes the fire should be above the pot about 4-6 inches. Is the switch set to high? Make sure the gap on the pots ash clean out slide is no more than a dime. Yes you probably need to replace the glass gaskets.

Everything set to high. Everything looks good. Except the flame. I stopped in a local dealer and said to make sure I'm getting red call light. It is. She showed me a floor model and that flame was great.
Nothing like mine. I'm not sure what else to check. She said to wait for the rope for now but that might be the next move. Any other suggestions?

How is the gap on the slide at the bottom of the burn pot? ( ash dump door ) do you know if the combustion blower motor has been changed?

No gap. Definitely not bigger than a dime. Both blowers has been changed. Local wants me to bring them the auger motor to test. They think it's not feeding enough.???

Make sure your control board is set to the correct setting (#1)..... You can also try setting it on #2 which will give you a 10% increase and see if that helps. Also make sure you unplug it before making any changes.

Is the gasket, in fact, in tact and there? Have you visually checked that the auger is turning for 7.5 seconds (on) when on high?

Yes it's there. But in other post I'm seeing people say something about an air wash. I dont see that at all. I will check in the morning. Setting 1 or 2?

Setting 1 replug into the outlet. Yes, it does turn for 7.5 sec. I taped the glass to block air and it's the same so I took back off.
Now I open the door and put a hand full of pellets in the pot and BAM!! a nice big flame. So why isn't my auger spitting out enough pellets? I had it out and all cleaned already. What am I missing?

When watching the pellets drop I see only 1-3 pellets drop at a time. Once in a great while, I'll see 4-6 drop.

Hmmm, is the correct auger "spring" on the auger motor? Different Quad models have different ones.

I've had a few 1200's through my shop and had one in my house for a couple years but never had this issue. They really are great heaters when functioning correctly.

It says 2013 model. The spring is hollow and thought about adding a 3/4" pipe down the center of the auger to see if any changes. Any thoughts on that? Like this one

Did you double check and make sure the setscrews are tight from the auger to the motor shaft?

Correct auger:

Also take a mirror and look up the drop tube and make sure nothing is jammed up there keeping the pellets from dropping.
