Ok , I am into trouble shooting a quadrafire Santafe. What is the normal status of the three snap disk.. are they NC or NO. Thanks for imput

Also another question, the ash dump. Is this a functioning option on this model. Because I wanted to dump the pot and there seems to be a bolt in the back to prevent it from opening.

Disk 1 is NO, 2 & 3 are NC.
You might have carbon jamming up bottom of firepot, if cleaning that up doesn't help try loosening up firepot door pivot bolt till it frees up. Then clean it up and tighten bolt so it moves but has minimal gap, like a dimes worth of clearance.
