Quadrafire

Getting ready to install a Quadrafire 4300 steptop. Bought the thing in the early 90's, never been used, and at the time it was "state of the art" burning technology. Just wondering how efficient it is compared to today's models?

It's a good stove and a serious heater. The main thing that changed on that model is they went from the ACC starter to the ACT starter air system.

The ACC is a manual start/stop for the startup air. The ACT has a 15 minute timer that will automatically close the startup air once it is pushed in to engage.
