Just picked up half a ton of these at TSC in Leesburg, VA. They had 20 tons and its going fast. Met some guys in there that drove 100 miles just to buy pellets, this shortage thing is nuts! They are selling them at $5.29 per bag, and you get $10 off if you buy a ton.

Did anyone burn these, are they any good? The are very "blond" and have a rather strong odor.

I burned some this year. Are OK, dusty, a lot of sawdust in bags, burned OK in my Harman. Did smell funky.. Really not much info on bags..

Of what, pine I hope? I used to live mile from poultry houses and that was twenty miles to close.

I guess you could call it pine smell. It's just stronger then any other pellet I ever smelled. No experience with poultry here, but i had my share of horses.

Pine is a good thing. The worst of the barn yard smells has to be when pumping the pits of a swine operation.
