I need to know what kind of wattage the fan on the Englander 28-3500 draws while running. I'm wanting to put in this furnace eventually in a future house build that I am designing. I am going to have a battery backup system and and trying to decide what size I need to have.

So, does anyone know what's the running wattage for the fan? I would like to measure it with a killawatt meter if I knew someone who had this furnace.

Thanks in advance for the help.

You're in luck. I just checked this with my Kilowatt meter it's between 305-307 watts. I am hooked into the cold air return, so there may some slow down there. That's also through a filter. My fan motor also says 3Amps
