Question about Uneven Firebox Surface – Blaze King Princess 29

Hi,

I just got my Blaze King Princess 29, and I noticed that the bottom surface of the firebox is uneven. Is that normal? I cleaned underneath the firebricks and even switched their positions, but the surface still isn’t level.

Did you compare the firebrick thickness or warping when they were out for cleaning?

Overall I wouldn’t expect them to be perfect, especially when you consider the accuracy needed to place logs on a surface then light them on fire.

I could see one cracking though the way they rock. Can you flip that one over and see if it solves the issue? Maybe straight edge the floor and see if it’s warped.
