If the stove is under warranty, did they make you send in the bad motor?

Feeling the Heat
They sent me a new one, and a return shipping label for my broken motor. They said they like to have the old ones back to tear apart and determin what failed

in most cases we do not ask for the old motor back , in a few cases we will ask for it back and will send a prepaid label for the box so it will come back at our expense
What is the expected life span of the motors?
I clean my stove religously. Making sure to chip
away the carbon buildup around the auger tube.
My thoughts are that this will give the
motor a longer life as its not meeting as much resistance
as it turns the auger.
I havent had ONE single problem with my Englander (knock knock)

I just received my new motor today, there was not a return shipping label in the box. My motor lasted 6 months, only used 3-4 months when it died
